Last updated: October 9, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of brightlinepaintingct.com, operated by Brightline Painting of Waterbury, Connecticut. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Website information
Content on this website, including articles, color and product suggestions, and descriptions of services, is provided for general information. Every home is different, and information on the site is not a substitute for an on-site evaluation. Photos and illustrations may show representative projects and are not a guarantee of identical results.
Estimates and proposals
Estimates are free and based on the conditions observed during our visit and the scope you describe. An estimate is not a contract. Pricing, scope, schedule, payment terms and any warranty are set out in a separate written proposal or contract signed by you and Brightline Painting, which controls over anything on this website.
Home improvement contracts in Connecticut
Residential painting work in Connecticut may be subject to the state's Home Improvement Act, which sets requirements for written contracts, including your right to cancel certain contracts within three business days. Where the Act applies, your written contract will include the disclosures it requires.
Scheduling and site conditions
Project dates depend on weather, product requirements and site access, especially for exterior work. We may reschedule work when conditions would compromise the quality of the finish, and we will communicate changes as early as possible. Concealed conditions discovered during work, such as rotted wood or failing plaster, may require a change to the scope, which we will discuss with you before proceeding.
Older homes and lead-based paint
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Federal and Connecticut rules govern renovation and painting work that disturbs these surfaces. Please tell us the age of your home when requesting an estimate so the project can be planned appropriately.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to disrupt it, accessing it through automated means without permission, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The Brightline Painting name, logo, text, graphics and website design are owned by or licensed to Brightline Painting and may not be copied or reused without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to or embed third-party services such as maps or scheduling tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those services.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brightline Painting is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Connecticut consumer protection laws or under a signed contract with us.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. We may update them from time to time, and the date above shows the latest version. Questions can be sent to info@brightlinepaintingct.com.
